About

Dr. Emily Dirr is a veterinarian serving Des Moines, Ames, and the surrounding central Iowa region.

​

Dr. Emily is a proud Buckeye, having graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ohio State University. After vet school, she completed a 1-year internship at the University of Florida with the Food Animal Reproduction and Medicine Service. Following her internship, she completed a 3-year residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine at Iowa State University.​
